Studio S opened its doors in 1992 and quickly became one of the most successful salons in Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara Independent readers have voted Studio S "Best of Santa Barbara" or Runner Up" in the hair salon category for five years, a testimony to the outstanding quality of its services. A Santa Barbara fixture with deep roots in the community, Studio S often donates and participates in local charities and fundraisers. Studio S is owned by Alexis Williams. The salon has eight stylists, two aestheticians and two receptionists on staff.
